Keeping In Touch
I've had the opportunity to make a lot of really good friends over the years.
They are from all over the place, or at least they live there now.
It's hard to keep in contact, and keep track of people as you get older (no, I'm not trying to show my age). People move away, get jobs, get married, run away, get lost, go searching... and sometimes, in the middle of all of those changes, we lose track of people. A month or a year, sometimes several years go by and you have a break in your busy life to reflect and you realize you haven't talked to so and so for a while. You call or email or write only to find out that they don't live there anymore, and you have no idea where they've gone. Surely with all the technology that exists... surely we could find that person, right? Unfortunately, that's not always the case. Some people are lost to us forever it seems.
I'm afraid to say that that has happened to me too many times, for whatever reason. I miss those people that I can't contact, but how do you find them?? Do you hire the FBI? CIA? KGB? ABC?? I guess you can ask mutual friends, family.... co-workers. Hope that they'll contact you or you'll bump into each other...
Perhaps someone reading this is one of those people, or you know of someone....
This is my new attempt of....... Keeping In Touch.
Spread the word... Keep in touch with each other... and keep in touch with me!
